The umbrella organization representing Jewish students and young adults (18–35) across all of Switzerland.
The Swiss Union of Jewish Students (SUJS) is the umbrella organization representing Jewish students and young adults aged 18 to 35 across all of Switzerland.
Founded in 1948 and based in Zurich, SUJS is a member of the European Union of Jewish Students (EUJS) and the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS), connecting us to an international network of Jewish students.
We create spaces for encounter, dialogue, and engagement for Swiss Jewish youth, both locally and internationally.
SUJS brings together Jewish student unions from across Switzerland.
Five areas of action guiding our daily commitment.
Building connections between Jewish students and fostering community engagement across all of Switzerland.
Representing Jewish students at universities and at the federal level.
Training and supporting future political and community leaders of Swiss Jewish youth.
Preventing antisemitism through politics, dialogue, education, and interfaith initiatives.
Promoting Jewish and secular education: shiurim, lectures, language learning, and training.
SUJS coordinates a wide range of events and initiatives across Switzerland.
Shabbatons and social gatherings across Switzerland, bringing together Jews from all around Switzerland and abroad.
International events in collaboration with Jewish student unions from other countries — offering Swiss Jewish youth the chance to join EUJS, WUJS, and many other international events.
Events and training to engage and empower Swiss Jewish youth in politics, advocacy, and communal leadership.
Your support allows us to organize events, represent Jewish students, and fight antisemitism.
